Make one image fit its destination.
Choose a useful preset, position the crop, preview the result, and download the exact pixels you need. Your image never leaves your device.
CROP OR FIT
Change the frame without stretching the picture
Crop to fill covers the entire output and trims whichever edges do not match the chosen shape. Use the position control to protect the most important part of the picture.
Fit whole image keeps every part of the source and fills the remaining space with your chosen padding color.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Social image FAQ
Will PixGauge stretch my image?
No. Both crop and fit modes preserve the source proportions. Crop mode trims edges; fit mode adds padding.
Which format should I choose?
JPG is a dependable default for photos. PNG is useful for sharp graphics or transparency in the source, although this tool fills any added padding with a color. WebP is efficient for websites but is not accepted by every publishing service.
Are the presets guaranteed for every platform?
No. They are useful common dimensions, but publishing services can change their layouts and requirements. Confirm current guidance when exact compliance matters.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The source file and finished image stay in your browser. PixGauge does not receive either file.
