PIXGAUGE FOR HOBBY PHOTOGRAPHERS
Take the guesswork out of image quality.
See how large a photo can print, protect its proportions, and prepare an efficient file for sharing—using the image’s real pixels rather than a misleading DPI label.

THE USEFUL DISTINCTION
Pixels determine available detail
The image’s pixel dimensions determine how much source detail is available. PPI describes how densely those pixels are used at a chosen print size. A metadata label alone does not create or remove photographic detail.
Start with the analyzer, choose the desired output, and only resize or compress a copy so the original remains available.
