IMPORTANT

Plan around the real printable area

Sheet dimensions are not always the same as a printer’s usable area. Desktop printers may leave unprintable edges, and cutting machines can impose registration-mark boundaries.

Use the sheet margin to represent the most restrictive usable boundary. Export the guide, print it at 100% scale, and measure a test before committing material.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Sticker layout FAQ

Does bleed make each sticker larger?

It enlarges the printed artwork footprint, not the final cut size. A 2-inch sticker with 0.125-inch bleed needs 2.25 inches of artwork from edge to edge.

Can the calculator mix rotated and unrotated stickers?

No. It compares two clean uniform grids. Mixed packing can occasionally fit another sticker, but uniform rows are easier to align, cut, and troubleshoot.

Is the SVG ready to print?

It uses the selected physical sheet dimensions, but you must print or import at 100% scale. Confirm margins, registration areas, and scaling in your particular software.
